| Lineage | In February 2009 Fugro Survey Limted carried out the environmental baseline survey on the Nimrod site (41/29) East Falklands Basin, for BHP Petroleum Corporation. Survey Vessel MV Fugro Meridan Surveyed a 9.6km x 7.4km area. Data collected includes bathymetry; water profiling using a CTD (conductivity, temperature, depth) probe; seismic data using a muiltibeam echo sounder; seabed sampling and box coring (using a 0.1m2 box corer). Sampling was carried out at 9 sampling stations, including 2 faunal and one physico-chemical. These samples were analysed for macrofauna content and physico-chemical properties. No video footage was taken at this site. Report without data is available. |
