| Lineage | Sentinel-2 imagery from 2017 and 2018 were processed to form a single, psudo-composite dataset. A red-edge vegetation index (VI) was applied to identify productive pixels within and/or on the water column. Terrestrial areas were masked, and the output normalised from 0 to 1. All values greater than 0.4 were reclassed as 1 indicating the extent of kelp. While all values less than 0.4 were reclassed as 0 (NoData). This dataset should be used in conjunction with FK-SAERI-543 |
